This vast space is so big that you could even pack 75 double-decker buses from floor to ceiling. The best thing about this is that it is an all-weather underground experience. Considering you&#8217;re in Snowdonia National Park, this might be a welcome escape from unpredictable weather.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Facilities&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There is ample parking, toilets and a gift shop you can browse as you wait. Still, there are additional activities such as seasonal pet care you can arrange if you have taken your dogs on holiday with you. This will allow the instructor to show you what&#8217;s required and to manoeuvre your way around the course. Be sure to follow instructions because you will soon be on your own and navigating the nooks and crannies of the 100-acre cavern by yourself! Yep, that&#8217;s right, you are on your own all the way around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don&#8217;t worry, though. You get shown how to work the zip lining equipment and how to stay safe. Time to put all your fears aside and brace yourself for being suspended 100ft in the air and totally dependent on your own abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you make that first zip-line across the huge slate cavern, you&#8217;re onto the course, and the only way back is to finish the course. You might feel a false sense of security, but don&#8217;t be fooled! This will soon disappear as you come face to face with tiny metal plates protruding from the cliff face taking you to the next obstacle.<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"margin-top: 15px; margin-bottom: 15px; \" id=\"adren-363051228\"><div data-id=viator-banner data-partner-id=P00057629 data-url=https:\/\/www.viator.com data-banner-width=728 data-banner-height=90 data-banner-language=en data-banner-selection=banner1 ><\/div>\r\n<script async src=\"https:\/\/partners.vtrcdn.com\/static\/scripts\/banners\/banners.js\"><\/script><\/div>\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;re adrenaline junkies, but this next part was the hardest and even dropped our stomachs. A hanging chain! You&#8217;re up high, there are no nets, and you&#8217;re on your own. Don&#8217;t look down, and remember you&#8217;re safely attached to the wall, so if you do slip, you&#8217;re safe and won&#8217;t plummet to your death. But it still gives you the fear of falling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;re then faced with several zip lines taking you from the cave&#8217;s roof down to the floor. Where you have to tackle the longest wire of the entire cave. Still suspended 30ft up with nothing but bright lights shining on your face from the cave floor, you fly across the cave to your next challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How are you at tightrope walking? We&#8217;re not the best, as we found out in the Maldives. So this was very daunting. You finally come to what you think is the end, and it leaves you with one more surprise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They call it the stairway to heaven&#x2026; climbing higher than you have been throughout your entire time at caverns. But first, another tightrope across the cave, but this one is very different. Making you lean over to make sure you don&#8217;t fall.
